Berta Parrish, Ed.D, has been journaling for over 33 years.  She is a retired college educator and writer with a strong background in Jungian and Archetypal Psychology.  She is also a certified Conscious Aging Facilitator.  She offers Conscious Aging, Practical Jung, Dream Questing, Elder Tales, and Myths Women Live By workshops. Her book Wise Woman’s Way: A Guide for Growing Older with Purpose and Passion offers the initiatory experience that our culture needs, yet lacks.

Spiritual Journaling

Keeping a journal for emotional exploration and self-discovery has long been advised by therapists and spiritual leaders.  In addition to these important benefits, journaling can augment and enrich our meditation practice. Come discover how personal writing facilitates concentration and focus during meditation as well as enhances witness consciousness, discernment, surrender, and gratitude by exploring insights, images, and impressions after meditation.   To deepen inquiry, contemplation, and Divine Curiosity, spiritual journaling complements our meditative experience. 

This class is offered on a free will donation basis with a suggested amount of $15.  Bring a pen and paper.
