Ayurveda, a traditional Indian health system closely tied to yogic practices, is growing increasingly popular and well respected in contemporary Western medicine and culture.  One of the core health questions in contemporary American life seems to be: “What should I eat ????”  Ayurveda provides an answer to that question that has withstood the test of over 2000 years of practice.

This class will clarify specific food types that  tend to benefit or harm individual constitutions.  It will include an examination of common digestive imbalances and how to eliminate those with food and herb choices.   Finally, we will discuss “food sadhana,” or healthy attitude and daily practices surrounding food and its vital role as sustenance not only for the body, but also for the soul.

This series is $75.00 payable at the first class session.
